Pokeman To Be Back With Another Season!

So Pokémon is all set to start with another brand new season. The series, that has become a cult in itself, is currently airing Season 11, and even though the current season still has some episodes left to be aired, the next season is all set to take the audience on yet another adventurous rollercoaster ride. I know you all are excited about what the newest season of Pokémon will hold in store for us. But for that we will have to wait for some time more. But as per my cousin who is currently in Japan, and where the season has already started airing, the new season is full of mystery, fun adventure, action and excitement. Also this being the final season of the Sinnoh Era, we do expect a highly volatile climax, in keeping with the traditional climaxes of the previous eras across various seasons. How I wish I could be transported to Japan every week just for watching the latest episodes of Pokémon. But, since that is something which is quite beyond my reach I will do the next best thing, I will watch the remaining episodes of Season 11 and will eagerly wait for 13th June, when my favorite show, Pokémon, will start off with the next season.

To tell you frankly, I first saw PokémonTV show only in the early 2000′s, when my cousin recommended the show to me. The show not only entertains through the small screen but also through the huge variety of merchandise available in the market. I even have a whole collection of toys, trading cards and the other stuff. Until recently, I was certain that having a collection of over a thousand Pokémon toys, I was the biggest collector of the same, but then I learnt that some lady has collected 8000 Pokemon toys. Now that is really cool guys, isn’t it? As for me I have been in love with Pokémon since the day I saw it. I just had to watch one episode and then I was completely hooked. And now everybody in my family knows that nothing can intervene with my date with Pikachu and his gang, every Saturday morning!

Dealing With Defensive Types!
Season 12, Episode 4
Ash finally gets to battle the Canalave City Gym Leader, Byron. In the first round Byron chooses his Bronzor, while Ash uses Chimchar. Ash tries to use Chimchar’s type-advantage to score an early victory, but this begins to prove ineffective when he learns that Byron has a defensive style of battling.
Trivia
-Byron had Steelix use Screech the same way Roark had his Onix use it when Ash battled him, indicating that Byron taught Roark that move.
-This gym battle is similar to Ash’s Gym battle against Jasmine of the Olivine Gym. Both Gym Leaders were fought in the 108th (however in the dub Byron is the 107th) episode of that saga. They both specialize in Steel-Types and own a Steelix. Each Gym Leader’s Steelix was defeated by that regions fire type starter.
-Ash defeats Byron and earns the Mine Badge.

We all love the animated series Pokemon and we also know that it has become so vast that it is now an enterprise in itself. The series, which originated in Japan, has crossed the boundaries of nations and cultures to win the hearts of millions of fans across the globe. Pokemon has become such a huge phenomenon that its every single entity has a huge fan following.
The series is currently airing its Season 12 in US. All this has definitely affected the popularity of the animated series in a great manner and has ensured that not only kids, but people from all age groups are hooked to Pokemon.

But, this is not all. As there are various other features associated with the Pokemon enterprise that most people are unaware of. For example, not many people know that the series has resulted in various spin-offs which are aired in its country of origin, Japan. In addition, there have been at least twelve Pokemon specials, which are basically shorts based on the animated series and range between a few minutes to an hour in duration.
Then there are a few episodes of Pokemon which have been banned, due to the ill effects they had on the kids who watched the same. Yet another fact is that, in 2006, China put a permanent ban on the airing of the series in the country. Finally, I am sure that all of you know that there are innumerable Pokeman to collect, but what most of you don’t know is that not every Pokemon is worth catching.
